1. What is Riby CoBanking?

RibyCoBanking is a platform that provides an end-to-end automation of all activities of cooperatives, associations, groups, and communities. It aims to bring about a seamless operating mode zero paperwork, improve record keeping, enhance accountability and transparency among the admins and members.

2. What features are available on the platform?

The basic features are Member Management for onboarding and managing members records; Contributions Management for setting up different contributions type and paying contributions; Loan Management for Setting up loan types, applying for loans, approving and disbursing loans; Cooperative Management for adding group’s account details and setting up their profile; and many more.

3. What are the available channels?

Riby CoBanking is available via web, app and USSD. We also have agents at different locations to help members with their transactions, such as pay their contributions, apply for loan, etc.

4. Who are the admins of a cooperative?

Admins are a group of people who oversee the smooth running of cooperatives and groups. Usually, the admins are the President, Vice President, Financial Secretary and Treasurer.

5. What are the charges?

Riby CoBanking is a Software as a Service. Hence users are charged based on subscription. The cooperative or group is charged per member monthly based on their membership strength.

6. I don’t belong to any cooperative, how do I use this platform?

You can sign up to join Riby Cooperative where we also use this solution to manage our activities. Please visit ribycooperative.ng and sign up.

7. Can I download the app and start using it?

To be able to login on the app, you have to be onboarded by your admin and you must have your username and password.

8. How do I recover my password?

To recover your password,
  • a. Go to the login page
  • b. Click on Forgot your password? Recover
  • c. Enter your registered phone number or email address
  • d. Enter the token gotten via SMS, email inbox or spam folder
  • Note: If your number is on Do Not Disturb, you may not get the recovery token
  • * If you entered your email address, the recovery token in your inbox or spam folder
  • e. Proceed with further instructions

9. What do I do if I encounter any issue with the platform?

Please contact your admin first. If the issue cannot be resolved by him/her, call the support line: 0809 2222 109 or send a mail to support@riby.me

10. Is my savings secure on Riby CoBanking?

Absolutely. The platform is PCIDSS compliant and it does not hold your funds. All payments are processed on the payment gateways and settled in the various cooperative accounts provided by the admin immediately.

Riby Enumerator is a solution which allows trade groups, organizations, cooperatives and other firms to seamlessly capture beneficiary data as well as manage the entire enumeration process via a cloud software solution.

2. What is Riby Enumerator used for?

Several activities can be performed using this platform such as:

  • Agent Monitoring and Management.
  • User Data Management and Analytics.
  • Data access control and permissions.
  • Data Validation and Verification.

3. How do I download the Enumerator Mobile App.

Go to Play Store on your device, download Riby Enumerator (Enterprise) and install the app

4. How does an agent sign up on the app?

On the login page, click on Agent Sign up, agree to the Terms of Services enter your BVN and submit. Your request will be accepted by Riby before you get your login details via SMS or email.

5. How do I carry out password recovery?

On the login page, click on recover button and enter your registered email or phone number on the app and follow other instructions.

6. Who do I contact if I encounter any problem using the app?

1. How do I become an agent?

Visit agent.riby.me and sign up. Please note that signing up does not automatically make you an agent, you would be contacted, only if you meet all the requirements.

2. What do I need to become an agent?

  • a. Agent must have a BVN
  • b. Agent must be literate
  • c. Agent must have an Android phone
  • d. Agent must have active phone number
  • e. Agent must have active bank account

3. What is the app used for?

Riby Agent app is specifically for the use of agents to capture all their activities. Agents can fund their wallet on the app, receive contributions from members of cooperatives, associations, and savings groups. BVN registration and account opening can also be carried out using this app. Agents can register members to join a cooperative, group or association on the app. Bills payment, airtime purchase can be carried out too. Members of cooperatives, savings groups or associations can apply for loan through an agent and get it approved and disbursed on Riby Agent app

4. How do I download Riby Agent app?

Please visit Playstore on your device, search for Riby Agent App, download and install the app.

5. How do I make money as an agent?

There are several revenue channels for agents to make money through the app and being a Riby agent comes with a lot of perks. All these will be discussed with you once you become a registered agent.

6. What do I do when I mistakenly transfer money to a wrong account?

We suggest you contact the person your wrongly credited to recover your money. Riby is not responsible for any incorrect transaction carried out.

7. How do I carry out transactions as an agent?

All transactions are processed on the Riby Agent app through a secure payment gateway. Records for Cash transactions can also be manually entered on the app by agents.

8. What do I do if I encounter a problem on the app?
